GREATEST LOVE OF ALL

1 John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

What an honor to be in your world again and again, sharing thoughts that go through my mind as I live boldly and endeavor to be loud enough until you can find a reason to keep on living. Everyday is an excellent day because we do not measure it by the weather but by truth. There are miracles all around you when you believe in the love of God. I have been saying it and I will say it again : Understanding the love of God is the greatest achievement in life. Yes, I said it!!

Helping people is my personal mission and it is the only worthwhile reason to wake up daily full of enthusiasm and ready for my world. I call my 6am alarm clock my "opportunity bell". Another day to live is another opportunity to love. Love is the reason and did you know that you are wired to love. Unfortunately many of us do not know how to love because we have experienced much hurt, we have seen much hatred and there is in us left absolutely no picture of that beautiful paradise world that is filled with perfect love. The good news is I believe in perfect love and it's possible in this lifetime because God , the creator of the world showed us "in word and in deed" what love is like and gave us hope that it's possible for us to love like Him. 

I should have called the title of this blog - THE ONLY LOVE because the "greatest love of all" presumes the idea that there is lesser love and greater love but if it is not the love of God, then its not love at all. Anyway, I am a fan of the late Whitney Houston and I know you are thinking - like really??? YES, that's right, I know you loved her too. So I woke up to the old school track "greatest love of all" and this track has more that 25 million views on YOUTUBE. That's amazing, isn't it. Anyway , just letting you know how I get the titles for my blogs. However, the message still remains. Look at this scripture below; 

1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

When you receive God's love by accepting His demonstration of love by sending His only son Jesus Christ to die in our place that we may live, you become bold and can't resist loving your world. Can I take this moment to explain some truths to you that you must never forget. Jesus Christ was not a martyr (someone who dies for his/her beliefs) , Jesus was a sacrifice (one who dies in place of another). Jesus Christ was not killed because He was "the life" and had power over His own life but He gave His life away. 

John 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.  

Is that in your bible too? That absolutely makes goose bumps all over my body, I like it and everything in me is stirred each time I read that portion. Now, when Jesus allowed Himself to be tortured and finally giving His life away, He said He was doing this for you. Not just for you to see His love demonstrated but He was actually doing it in your place.(2 Corinthians 9:14) Think about it. It was not just a nice idea to go through pain to show that He loves you so much, no, He took your place so that the day you accept that when He did it, it was for you ; that very moment, it is credited into your account meaning when He died to pay for your sins, you died. This means that you paid already for your sins through Him. 

Let's say you owe someone money and you are struggling to pay the person and you took a mortgage and now you are unable to pay it. When you are in that state, we call you a debtor. Then a rich friend realizes that you are in that state, call that rich friend John Mazanga. John Mazanga then understands your situation and transfers money to the company or person you owe. When the company receives that payment, you are immediately removed on the debtors list because you already paid through John Mazanga. You are no longer a debtor.This is the revelation of grace. This is love, that a man would lay down His life in place of another. 

Not only did He lay down His life for you but He rose again from the dead to a new life , a victorious life and He did this again in your place and the message says if you believe in His resurrection, life is credited into your account and you are suddenly called "the victorious" from that very moment. What great love has the Father bestowed upon us that we should be called His children, raised up with Christ to a new and victorious life. This is the greatest love of all.   

Surely, greater love has no man than this, that He would lay His life for His friends. (John 15:13)

Go and tell your world. Let them know they are special and loved. Jesus died and rose up again in their place. I am excited already and I know you can't wait to share this message.

Loveland - a place of total confidence

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear......

I welcome you my friend to my world, a place where all things are possible because we believe!! It's a new day and I am excited to be part of your life as we share the same unstoppable message - it's the message of the love of our Father God, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the partnership of the Holy Spirit. Weekend is here and church doors are open, invite someone to your local church. We always say saved people serve people so that served people can be saved.

Have you ever found yourself fearful ? I mean you get a phone call or receive message and your heart starts beating and your armpits begin to sweat, your tummy suddenly becomes a band. It might not be a phone call but a thought just skips through your mind and your whole body responds. We are living in a world that is filled with fear. Fear is being used as a tool in advertisements and entrance into several business ventures. 

I remember watching and advert by Clientele Legal on e.t.v one Saturday morning  and all I heard were questions on how hard it is for kids to survive if parents are hit by a car or is involved in an accident; this is their motivation for insurance. Many of the business deals I am invited to involve ideas about financial security and having enough before retirement. So wherever you are , you hear words filled with fear but we are changing the mode. The children of God are rising and growing in the understanding that even if we are "in this world" , we are not "of this world". Our Father God loves us. 

Matthew 3:17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

From Matthew to Revelations , we only hear the voice of the Father God speaking from heaven only two times , one at his baptism(beginning of His mission) and another at transfiguring (towards completion of His mission). Amazing enough , He communicated the same thoughts in both instances ; whom I love - His love for the Son and whom I am pleased with - The righteousness in the Son.  Jesus needed assurance from the Father that He loved Him so dearly, this is what gave Him boldness in His ministry and life walk on the earth. In Him was no fear at all, at every instant He was a ready man, full of confidence and overcoming in every situation. He refused to be controlled by circumstances of this life. He had known the love of the Father. Look at the words in the prayer by the Lord Jesus in John 17; 

John 17:23.......that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.

This is too deep for my mind to catch but my spirit can receive it. The Father Himself loves you in the very same way He loved Jesus. I pray that this understanding would become part of your life everyday. The Father will take care of you , the Father protects you, the Father fights your battles, in a world filled with fear , you can stand up and confess boldly that the Father loves you dearly. Though we you are living in America, Asia , Africa , Europe or Australia, you are not of that land, your new land is called LOVELAND!! It's a place of total confidence.  There is no fear in love, love drives out fear!! When circumstances try to put fear into you, think about the love of the Father who gave up His only Son just for you, how much more shall He not give you all other things that you require to live a happy, joyful and fulfilled life.

RELENTLESS LOVE

John 16:27 For the Father himself loves you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

Hello!! I am confident that God is continually increasing you in knowledge as we share the message of His grace. Apostle Paul said this "word of grace" is able to build us up and give us an inheritance (Acts 20:32), that's the reason we cannot stop studying and sharing this great message to everyone we can reach. Jesus is alive!

On the previous blog, I made a very conclusive statement ; Understanding the love of God is the greatest achievement in Christianity and in life. This has become my thinking infused into my spirit by the revelation of God's word. Ephesians 3:17-19 is absolutely amazing!! These are scriptures to mark in your bible or print them and put them on a wall, scriptures to share with your friends and family, those words to meditate on continually. Let's look at it together. 

Ephesians 3:17-19 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Wow wow wow, do you see what I see!! The inspired prayer by Apostle Paul to the church is that you will be rooted and grounded, having the foundation of your life as the love of God. Now there is one major word that we will feast on today , this word is "rooted". The word rooted speaks of anchor and supply. An old Lutheran hymn by Edward Mote goes like this ;

My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus' blood and righteousness , I dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly lean on Jesus' name.

Anchored on the love of Christ, immovable and unshakable. Romans 8:38 says, "what shall separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus....." - NOTHING! It does not matter what the winds are that blow into the boat, when the storms rage and nothing in the natural seems to make sense, your confession is "Jesus loves me". The love of Christ, your anchor.

ROOTED!!

Now , going to the other word that I love so dearly , supply!! I remember a year ago I had a big A3 paper with these words, "God is my supply of every good thing". Have you ever thought that we are God's children and God is our Father? God is a good Father and He is so passionate about taking care of all your needs. God's provision for us is founded on His love for us. In our title scripture , Jesus is alerting the disciples that in the day of salvation, which is the day we are living right now as the children of righteousness, He will not ask the Father on our behalf to give us anything but we will ask in His name. Jesus then says that the Father will give us because "the Father Himself loves us." Oh glory God forever, this is what must give you boldness wherever you are, the Father Himself , the creator of this world and everything in it, that GREAT and ONLY God loves you. 

This love is beyond comprehension, its too great to fathom. But the good news is that as we read scriptures on His love and think deeply and start confessing them , by His Spirit we can fully understand this love and when we do , when we do understand , the scripture says something really really big. The word of God says we will be filled with all the fullness of God. I know you are wondering if this is in the bible , yes it! I told you understanding the love of Christ is the BIGGEST. Pray this prayer in Ephesians 3:16-19 for yourself daily, you will be amazed how your life will go. I love Martin Smith's song , here is how it goes;

You'll never stop loving us , no matter how far we run. You'll never give up on us. All of heaven shout , let the future begin!!....

LIQUID LOVE

1 John 3:1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God. 

Welcome to the month of June 2015. I pray that you and me would continually grow in the knowledge of God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ through His word and the greater one that lives in us - the Holy Spirit. I am excited to be in your world again, communicating the same irrefutable message - the gospel. 

Love has always been the deep cry of the human heart and that cry of billions has found its answer in Jesus Christ. Trust has its foundation on love. Trust has value when it is backed up with demonstration. The bible shows us that God so loved the world that He "gave His only begotten Son". Now, that scripture in John 3:16 is utterly amazing , the amplified version puts it this way - God so "highly priced" the world meaning God thought you were so special , so important , so peculiar, he saw you as a package of pearls, a bunch of diamonds , do you understand what I am saying to you!! How I wish you could understand what was in God's mind for you. Psalm 139:16-17 declares , "How precious are your thoughts towards me , Oh God! How vast is the sum of them. If I could count them, they are more than the sand ....." 

Can you count those grains of sand on the beach? David saw that and compared them to the number of the beautiful thoughts that God has for you as an individual. I want you to take this personal, wake up everyday and look at yourself in the mirror, put on your wildest grin and say ,"God, the creator of the world is so crazily in love with you" He did not buy you a chocolate or a jaguar F-Type(my best car - just had to say), no no no, He gave His Son as a sacrifice to die in your place. 

Apostle Paul lays an astounding argument in Romans 5:7 ; how difficult it is for one to die for a righteous man , however when you were still that wretched you, Christ Jesus died for you. He saw what you could be if you accept this sacrifice and make Jesus your Lord. Maybe you are reading and you think you are too messy , let me show you the shock of your life in 1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Did you see that, God Himself proposed to you, you thought you are a nobody but look at the Father on one knee saying so passionately - I love you and you wonder how could a righteous , holy God love someone like me; because God is love. 

Romans 8:32 gives me boldness everyday I kneel down to pray , look at it ; Romans 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? This comes as a package , with His Son is an extra bag full of all things that you require for life. This is what I call liquid love, love that has no glitches, loves that surpasses human failure, love more powerful than sin, love that reaches to those in the lowest valley, the unfathomable, enigmatic , incalculable, mysterious love the Father has for you. Men and women who believe in the love of God win in the battles of life,they are unshakable because they know they are God's beloved. There is a place in God of total security, unending peace, complete boldness even in the face of death itself. It is that atmosphere of the revelation of His love. 

The great Apostle John , the man who had comprehended this reality ; they tried to burn him but the man could not die until they had to banish him to Patmos. He is the one that says , "See what great love the Father has lavished upon us , that we should be called the children of God!". Understanding the love of God is the greatest achievement in Christianity and in life. This is what makes you a champion, full of faith, full of compassion, packed with kindness, wherever you are ,love is drooling from you, your eyes are bright with endearment!! YOU ARE LOVED BY GOD.

LOVE WAY, MY WAY.

1 Corinthians 14:1 Eagerly pursue and seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest].(AMP)

Always a joy to be part of your world every week, building each other in the love of God and still living by faith. I believe you had an awesome week and we are looking forward to a great weekend; like I always encourage, being actively involved in your local church, fervent in spirit as you serve the Lord is wonderful, GO DO IT. Are you ready!!

History has displayed what evil and hatred can do to mankind; the holocaust in 1941 to 1945 as Adolf Hitler led a genocide of approximately 11 million Jews, apartheid hit South Africa and thousands lost their lives, deadly wars, corruption, crime, evil men which the bible says they cannot find sleep until they shed blood have defined several patches of history. The question still remains though ; can darkness ever be greater than light? 

     














The pictures above were taken on Saturday 17 May 2014 on my tour to Robben Island. Sat on that bed and got in that prison cell just to let my imagination escape into the world of those who were residents in that vicinity at a certain space in history. I listened attentively as the tour guide orated, " Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Robben Island........" As he narrated how people with leprosy were dumped like animals to perish on the lone island, I could feel tears about to drool from my eyelids. The emotion was hastily moving to anger , unanswered questions cluttered into my mind regretting making a decision to expose myself to that terrible history. 

Excuse me but I feel that I have to take you on a journey into my mind on that Saturday afternoon. 
Questions : 
1. God, if you are love, why did you let this happen?
2. Why didn't you strike all these evil people with lighting?
3. You are a supernatural God, you should just have miraculously saved all of them
4. I know I must not question you but why didn't you do something?
As all these questions raced in my skull , the tour guide was still pounding into the recorded history. He then said, "....only a few leaders were responsible for organizing these tragic acts." I caught that one!!

On my way back home, I heard a voice in my heart which I believe to be the Holy Spirit until this day saying to me, "If only a few people full of hatred can achieve so much atrocity , how much can a few people full of the love of God achieve? Has darkness ever been more powerful than light, has evil ever be stronger than good? Overcome evil with good " That was a wow to me!! All my questions were answered. God wants to use me! God wants me to be the light! God wants me to love! I am His instrument to change the world. Hear me well, this might come a bit harsh but have you ever realized that we have a lot of good people who are not doing anything? LOVE IS LOUD! LET'S GO PUBLIC WITH THIS! 

You and me filled with the love of God can impact billions of people around the world, start where you are right now , find an opportunity to love and grab it.

What is love like? 

1 Corinthians 13: 4 Love is patient and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Wow!! This is a scripture to put on your wall, confess it daily and live it. I am so stirred up as we begin this subject. Be a master in love , that's what matters to God. Make a decision today to make the way of love, the HIGH WAY as my friend said to me recently, I call it the most excellent way: MAKE IT YOUR WAY. 

If you are reading this and you have not received the love God displayed in Jesus Christ who died as a sacrifice for our sins and rose up from the dead for our justification , this is your moment to receive that love. Remember , you can only give what you have so when you receive God(who is love) , you can easily give it away. You can lift up your hands as a sign of surrender , meaning it in your heart say out loud ,

" Father God , I thank you for giving me Jesus to die in my place and to be resurrected from the dead to make me just. I declare with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord of my life. This moment, I receive eternal life into my heart, I am forgiven , I am a new creation, the past is gone, the new has begun in the name of Jesus!!"  

Yes, you did it!! Tell your friends, go to a bible believing church this weekend and let them know.
